I’m Clare, and I’m glad you’ve found your way here.

As a writer of fabulist fiction and poetry, my work centers on the strange, the fantastical, and the macabre, and strives to take a closer look at life, states of being, and our perception of the world around us.

I hold my MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College (2021), and my BFA in English Literature and Ancient Studies from Mount Holyoke College (2019).

Whether you’re here by chance, by reason, or are simply passing through, I hope you find some inspiration and some solace here.
